so, yeah, this is messed up and scary…
but one thing i noticed that i thought you might want to consider is that it’s probably likely that way more than 2% of travelers have an issue with this. it’s just that we’re made to feel so under attack and nervous that we might be considered a potential criminal/terrorist during the screening process that only 2% felt brave enough to ask for the alternative. not that this is any better, but worth noting, i think. i’ll bet polling would show VERY different results.
